Raise your hand if you like pizza!! Today I have the great pleasure to be surrounded by my grandmother, mother & one of my "thoughtful three" sisters, and we are throwing together a pizza! This is not your ordinary pizza either... my Nonna does NOT order pizza OR heat up DiGiorno! You can get super fancy and make the crust, but with a whole wheat Boboli shell you can get something just as fresh... frankly, it's simple as pie!
- Pre-heat oven at 350*
- 1-2 Whole Wheat Boboli
-Put about 2 tbs olive oil on naked shell
-Chop up onion, cherry tomatoes, parsley & basil about 1 1/2 cups, salt & pepper to taste
-Spread vegetables on shell and add freshly grated parmesan cheese (if you want you can replace this cheese with mozerella)
-Bake 15-20 minutes

Mangia & Enjoy!! Cioa- MM
Hey, MM! Went to a Pizza making class and learned a neat trick there... the guy told us to put the tomatoes down first, then the cheese then the basil, and drizzle the olive oil ON TOP?!? Had never heard of such a thing, but it was delish!!
ReplyDeletePizza making class sounds like so much fun! I am definitely going to try that olive oil trick too. It sounds delicious!
