Just like Giada!

In my attempts to "go-green" and my efforts (let me emphasize efforts... not necessarily successes) to eat as healthy as possible, I have devoted myself to buying produce and eggs from the local farmer's market on a weekly basis.

So far, I have checked myself off for one week! Whoo! And of coarse, as all you veteran heath-foodies probably know, (I am learning as I go) if you buy eggs from a farmer it would go against all good/green reason to throw away the carton... you need to recycle it for the next week. Soooo, to avoid having that horrid-old-styrofoam-eye-sore in my fridge, I have purchased myself the much needed "egg crate" from Anthropologie :)

I love it! The baby blue just so happens to be my favorite but when I saw the white one on Giada At Home, I kinda loved that one too. You check it out and decide for yourself!

Special K also had the idea that it could be used for loose jewelry on your dresser... perfect to keep track of small earrings or rings! Sis, you get the white one then we can swap every other year?!

Ciao for now! -mm

  1. I recently picked up a small, pink egg crate at a yard sale for 25 cents. And you're right, they're much more aesthetically pleasing than the styrofoam cartons. XO
